Wake Camp FAQ

All you questions answered in one place

What does my child have to bring each day?

We recommend that every child bring a towel, a water bottle, a snack, and sunscreen. Please label all your belongings.

If my kid has their own equipment, should they bring it?

We provide wakeboards, water skis, and life jackets to everyone, however your child is welcome to bring their own personal life jacket, or equipment.  Please ensure that any personal equipment is labeled with your name.

What are the qualifications of each instructor?

Each instructor is USA watersports, CPR, and First Aid certified. We each have years of experience wakeboarding, waterskiing, and wakesurfing, and many of us grew up on Lake Austin.

Is lunch provided at Camp?

Each child should come prepared with a lunch, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during camp. On the last day of camp, all campers go to Lunch at Ski Shores, which is included in the cost of the camp. Water will be provided and will be readily available on the boat.

Should I be concerned if my child has any allergies?

Please notify our staff of any allergies on the registration form or prior to the start of camp.  We will try to accommodate all campers to the best of our ability.  An EpiPen is available on the boat in case of emergency, however if your child has their own EpiPen please bring it with you with your child’s name labeled.
